| hahaha, wow... xanga... i totally forgot about you. so it's 2007, i had a good christmas and a good new year, nothing spectacular, but not bad either. have a great job, learning new artistic styles in photoshop, great apartment, even greater, more amazing, wonderfully perfect boyfriend. i pretty much love life right now. yay anyways, that's all i've got for now, bye | | |
| geez, it's been like, a month, haha. well, i finally got a job. yay! haha, took long enough. i'm working at hobby lobby now. let's see, what else is news... i haven't woken up before 9am in like... 3-4 months.. this actually hurts right now, hahah. Dalton and I are still together, and for some of you who know me, this is a great accomplishment, hahah but he's so amazing, i really don't think it's going to be hard to keep this up. i'm learning lots of guitar things, dying to get ahold of a drumset, and looking over at my poor, unplayed bass guitar right now, haha. i'm teaching myself to draw cartoons, specifically manga if any of you know what this is. that's a good technique for designing characters in my major (gaming and simulation programming), mostly cuz for some reason that has become really modern even though that technique is hundreds of years old. ~Jess~ | | |
| wow, i am having such an amazing time. everything is working out perfectly.. everything is perfect.. i love it so much.. but i've never had this feeling before.. how long does it last? can it last? i hope so.. i really really hope so.. ~Jess~ | | |
| have you ever sat back, looked at people you know and thought, i really don't know these people.. maybe not because you don't know all their secrets, or things that they've done, or why they do certain things, even though that plays a big part of this feeling, but because they don't know you. if no one really knows you, then you feel alone, no matter how many friends you have or people that know you, wave to you as you pass, stop and ask you how you are and expect you to do the same.. or maybe you never take the time to get to know someone, you're always surrounded by aquaintences and people that know things about you. or even, you've grown up with a group of people, let's say at church, high school, etc.. and then you one day, while sitting in church listening to the preacher, or sitting at lunch with your friends, realize that they have their own lives, that they go through things that you have to go through, that they have minds and personalities, but you usually only think of them as other people, not real persons. of course we KNOW that they have their own lives and such, but do you really stop to think about how insignificant our concerns are? our problems are shared by so many, that it's only ridiculous to expect other people to worry or truly care about what you're worrying and caring about as much as yourself. this i think, is the reason why whining and complaining are extremely pointless, all you do is bring up thoughts of how that applies to them in the person listening to you.
so stop whining people, and try to be happy about something every now and then. it just makes everyone's days more bearable.

p.s. - this was directed towards myself, so don't take it personally, haha, wasn't meant towards you, but if it applies, then read and absorb. | | |
| well, apartment life is pretty sweet. i tend to get a little frustrated a little too easily, but i'm sure that'll pass with getting used to all this responsibility. don't let your parents do everything for you, you end up not having any clue how to do it all yourself.. but even then, you're still going to be a bit clueless, haha. anyways, i'm baking cookies right now, waiting for a phone call from anyone. i'm getting an interview with best buy tomorrow hopefully, so that'll be sweeeeet. alrighty, just thought i'd pay a little attention to poor ol' xanga now that facebook has taken over the world.
